I'd be in general a -1 also simply because the open-ils-general list isn't
too crowded with communication. I don't think we want to create additional
lists unless one communication channel is so crowded with discussion that a
topic gets lost in the conversation.

I'm neither a +1 nor a -1 on this topic. What I would like to say relative
to this topic, however, is that I hope people will step out on a limb and
put their questions and comments out there one way or another. At the

I agree with Lori. I think she hit the nail on the head.

Good morning all,
I think rather than starting with a mailing list that we might want to start
with a meeting.
This topic has spawned a great discussion and I think there are very valid
points on either side of whether or not to create a mailing list. The larger
takeaway for me here is that

An IRC meeting for folks interested in Evergreen system

However, I would also encourage folks who would like to start a

I'm always for that. To be clear, my suggestion to have a

Hello
Can anyone help us with these acquisitions issues? If there is someone out
there we would love to hear from you.
We went live on Evergreen on December 1st 2011 (SEDAR Consortium) and find
acquisitions a real struggle.

As someone who is very new to Evergreen and the community (had a great time

Hi All,
I hope someone can help us, we're relatively new to evergreen, and have had
a hard time. We have had evergreen for about two years now, but experienced
a server crash that took all our data last fall. We're still cleaning up
from this disaster, and running into some strange situations.
