thanks! I’ve tried to compile on a current Ubuntu 13.10. A default build
(gradle 1.8 without parameters) works fine. With
gradle -PCOMPILE_TARGETS=x86egl sdk
however, I get the following build error:

out the size (length & height) of a String as it will appear on the
screen?
