Anyhoo, if you're up to resurrecting Prebuild in Github then more power to
you! My patches to Prebuild are, of course, open-source and free to use.

Ahhhahhh, I see. I spoke before looking. We're all set then.

I'm quite surprised Prebuild is so dead - perhaps that shows how little
cross-platform .NET stuff there is.

I was going to suggest putting it up on Github though that would suggest somebody is maintaining it for general use,
which I'm not sure any of us have the time/inclination to do (I don't).

Having said, that a quick search of github reveals that lkalif has put up a fork [1]. Maybe it would be worth porting
patches to that, though I know our Prebuild also has some nasty very OpenSimulator specific hacks in it which would need
to be generalized first.

btw, I don't remember actually pushing any patches to the Prebuild project myself though it's quite possible I did some
minor stuff and have forgotten about it.

Hi Oren,

We have custom work in the dnpb we include in core too. I have submitted
patches, as has Justin. And I like your patches to handle 4.5. Would it
make sense to merge these and host it on github or include it in our
libraries?

[Opensim-dev] Prebuild versioning

2014-03-25 Thread Justin Clark-Casey
Hi Oren. In commit f5ae36d7e25a20199d676e53a066be79f76b580d, I see you bumped update prebuild for .net 4.5 and bumped
the version number (and some internal numbers) up to 2.0.6.

Whilst I know this has happened before, do you see any issue with tagging these versions as having OpenSimulator project
patches applied? For instance, 2.0.3-opensim3 as the last actual prebuild release 2.0.3. This can save a lot of
confusion in the future, particularly if prebuild ever does do another release (unlikely, I know).
