Re: [openstack-dev] [neutron] Neutron mid-cycle announcement
I was willing to go, (plane is ~850€ from Madrid) but it’s going to push too much stress on my family as it’s too close to the summit. (I need to add at least 3 more days because of flights). I’d love to participate remotely, even with the timezone differences, if you find a way to leave “homework" to the ones at CEST without making your work more difficult I’d allocate those days to help where I can/It’s needed. Re: [openstack-dev] [neutron] Neutron mid-cycle announcement
Just as a counter-point: The entire reason that a mid-cycle is an important thing to do is to achieve higher bandwidth communication between contributors. We can do Hangouts all the time and that's certainly a useful thing. But making the people in the room who have high bandwidth slow down for those who are at the other end of low-bandwidth may not be a productive thing as a whole. Anyway, just a thought as somebody who has tried this before. Re: [openstack-dev] [neutron] Neutron mid-cycle announcement
I'd be happy to donate a Go To Meeting for the session, if desired. Not sure if / how it is better than Google Hangout. I know we can get GTM's for 100's of participants. Not sure how many Google Hangout can support, with something like slide sharing occuring. Anyway, let me know if you'd like me to set one up.
