All,
As you may know, a new version of the PROJ library is about to be released. At
the moment we are on release candidate 3 [0].
It is very likely that this release candidate will be promoted to the final
release. Before that happens though, I want to make sure
that everything works as expected
on new packages, maybe
that is useful to you?

There’s already a ticket for this: https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/ticket/558
The bug you are referring to is not fixed in PROJ 5.0.0 so an update will
not really help you in that regard. Best option for that is to use 4.9.3. A
bug fix release is on its way though, so when that is out it should be

Hi,
It would seem like the null grid is not being installed properly for the
proj-5.0.1RC1-1 package. The file is not present in OSGeo4W64\share\proj when
5.0.1 is installed. It is installed correctly for version 4.9.3. I wonder if
this is simply a blunder in the OSGeo4W package or if something
maintainers computers? Or have I missed
something completely obvious here?

Hi,
PROJ 5.2 was recently released. The default version in OSGeo4W is still 4.9.3
and there's an optional 5.0.1 release candidate. Would it be possible to at
least replace the 5.0.1RC with a more recent version? Amongst other things it
would allow users of QGIS to use some of the new projection
Hi,
I was very happy to see that many core packages in OSGeo4W was updated [0].
That is a very welcome addition. Unfortunately I experience problems with the
QGIS package. The install fails with the following message:
Package: Unknown package
qgis-common.bat exit code
This issue is fixed for me now. Thanks for a swift response!
