I plan GPX trails with waypoints very often. For planning, I use Garmin
BaseCamp and maps from Openstreetmap on my Windows PC. OK, Garmin BaseCamp is a
complex program, but in my opinion it is the best program for offline planning.
The GPX files (tracks, no routes) including the waypoints can
OsmAnd can display waypoints in GPX files. I guess Komoot doesn't export the
waypoints at all.
Open the GPX file exported from Komoot with a text editor and check whether the
waypoints are included.

He has an iPhone. Then why the discussion about Android.
I also use OsmAnd 3.13 on an iPhone 6 with iOS 12.4.5.
My iPhone 6 already has a gyroscope. In fact, the rotation of the map works
better than on my Moto G7 with Android 10.
You have to do it as described by Max1234lta. If you see a
However, there is another function.
My Places -> Trips -> Create new trip.
There you can set waypoints.
After saving, a GPX file is created.
In the Vavigation menu item you can choose the file as GPX route.
Unfortunately, no route is calculated from the individual waypoints. Am I doing
Nice video. Also, I am one of those who usually use OsmAnd for Android.
Since many of my friends use IOS, I bought an iPhone specifically for OsmAnd.
I miss onthe iPhone version the possibility to save a planed route.
Could you already find a function there?

Hi Paul,
you're probably someone who also uses Garmin devices for navigation and did the
data transfer to OsmAnd as well as Garmin.
I loaded the GPX file into a separate list in BaseCamp. The list will show 2
waypoints, a route "01 - Hendaye to Olhette" and the track "ST-E ANNE".
I basically
Then yes, the settings in the general settings would be completely superfluous.

Thanks, I found it. I have loaded tracks many times. This menu item but never
activated, because I have been weaned from the beginning to save tracks with
waypoints. Because that brought bad luck.

In version 3.0.4 I could select the default profile Car, Cycling, Pedestrain
under [Options] - [General Settings].
In version 3.3.8 only cycling or browse map can be selected as default profile.
How do I select Car as Default profile?

Like you, I built my first track (in Garmin BaseCamp) with waypoints. When I
tested it OsmAnd behaved as described by you.
If you are not moving exactly past the position of the waypoint while
navigating, try OsmAnd to navigate to the waypoint again and again. Even if you
have been away for
Search csv 2 gpx in Google. You will find several programs or websites that
solve your problem.

I hope I'm right in this forum.
Trip Planning plugin is enabled.
If I try under Menue-> My Trips -> Create New Trip I can set a waypoint.
The waypoint looks more like a favorite. At the top of the screen, I tap [Add
Waypoint].
Unfortunately, it does not happen anymore. Is this a bug in OsmAnd
Meanwhile I could activate the function also.
Thank you for the explanation.
I expected the simulation to be similar to the Garmin Oregon, GpsMap, Etrex
devices.
At Garmin, the route is visualized, the directional arrows and speed are
displayed.
The cursor then follows the route. With OsmAnd,
Do you believe it or do you know it? Unfortunately, as you have described, it
does not work

Thanks for the tip. That had probably been chosen at some point in the infinite
configuration options.

Thanks for the answer.
However, I do not use OSMAND for driving.
I use it exclusively for cycling.
Maybe someone could tell me where I can disable it.

If I set a track visible in the [My Places] menu, it will be displayed on the
map.
If I try the same track make invisible this setting is not accepted by OSMAND.
No matter what I do, the track always stays visible.
Is this a problem from my Smartphone / Android version or is this a bug in
