Both my devices show Shoreham West breakwater the same as you've sent.
Shoreham East looks a little different. I had attributed that to some
"minor" difference in the nature of the structures.

I edit OSM all the time (using JOSM, mostly). And I'm quite sure the
problem is in Osmand. I just looked at the Shoreham West Breakwater in
Osmand — which has the same tags as our local breakwaters here in Oregon —
and I see the exact same undesirable outlined style that I'm talking
about!
IMHO the issue is not in OsmAnd but is in OSM maps.
If that is the case, it would seem the correct action is to either:-
Amend the data on the OSM Map.
or if you are uncertain how to do this, then:-
Add a "note" at the relevant location on the OSM Map.
Do you know to do this?
(I am not an expert,

Re. "Screen on/off at turns".
Thank you Majka, you are right, I had not noticed.
It still seems to be missing at version 3.3.6. (Or have I missed
something?)
Can anyone offer a solution?

Just be careful, with the latest Play Store version the screen on/off
feature seems to be missing. We can thank Google again

For the mount: I am using cheap mount with clamp, where the additional
silicon holder is finn-like, works perfect and

Let it calculate the navigation. Let it show
I have generated a route with several intermediate points which I have selected
on the map.
I'd like to save this route which I only need in a few days.
Is this possible?

That's why I strongly recommend you go with a device that's supported by
LineageOS: they keep providing new releases *much* longer than the
original manufacturer.

You
Thanks to all for your help.
The main reason for buying a new phone is: More and more apps are now
longer supported by android 4.3. Current
timetable data, that are given as updates are no longer available.
OsmAnd was the only app with performance problems. It is not funny, to miss
a turn when
Maybe others could help if you give the location & Lat/Long of the feature.

I use the finn as well. Very nice, very simple, universal and they are even
cheap. Before this one I had a "brand specific" one for my previous Samsung.
It was quite expensive and not universal.
The finn can be ordered by most internet shops.
