Hi all,
I just realised that there is the Commodore emulator VICE for Ubuntu but
not for Opensuse (except from two :home-Repos I refuse to use).
Are there any chances this might get packed by Packman?
Cheers,

Hi all,
I just realised that Filezilla continuously reminds me of a new version.
I checked on the Opensuse Website (Packetsearch) and realised:
Factory has Filezilla 3.5.3
Suse 12.1 has Filezilla 3.5.3
Suse 11.4 has Filezilla 3.3.4.1
Tumbleweed has nothing at all
I am still not understanding Tum

And is this the exact same package as for 11.4?
Because the 0.25 i installed on 11.4 could not be connected to from
ubun
on of the frontend as well ?!?
And if I stay with 0.24 backend I still can't use the ubuntu 0.25
frontend now, can I?

Hallo zusammen,

Just to let you know:
I depend on having a reasonably functional frontend for Windows, which
seems to be mythbox-plugin for xbmc. This does not work with mythtv 0.25
so I'm not going to upgrade anyway...

Hi all,
has this been fixed? Or will it be fixed soon?
I could easily go into the init-script and replace -u by -user. but what
ist the propper alternative for -g? Nothing?

Hi all,
while investigating my vlc2.0-upgrade-issues i just realised that some

Hi all,
Just tried to upgrade to VLC 2.0.
I encountered a whole bunch of cross dependencies from libpostproc52,
libavutil51, libxine1-codecs...
So if I want to upgrade libavutil51 to the new version I will have to
uninstall libpostproc51 and if I do so libxine1-codecs is broken.

Thats the exact problem I was mentioning 2 months ago. I am afraid there

Hi all,
Are there any plans on packaging Audacity 2.0 for Suse 11.4/64?
I would be as amazed as I lack technical knowledge to do it by myself… ;-)

Hi all,
I raised the issue a couple of weeks ago. Meanwhile I opened a Bug at
the Gstreamer Bugzilla:

It turns out the problem is with the Fluendo MP3 codec.
I thought that this component is part of gstreamer as well but it seems

Next Release? Are you saying that any package added to OBS will only be
abvaillable for the NEXT OpenSUSE-Version?

Hi all,
I installed a bunch of updates today (about 65) with the majority coming
from packman (xine, vlc, gstreamer...)
Unfortunately, xine is now broken. None of my files plays right now, the
progress bar runs through a 2 hour video in about 15 seconds and when
starting to play i receive:

Hi all,
there is a new major version of Raw Therapee. As far as I can tell this
is Open Source now. Unfortunately there is no rpm for OpenSuse. The
versions available either don't work or have to be compiled manually.
Is there any chance that this package may be added to Packman?
