I went back to this project and I'm still turning up blank as to how to
get BT connections working as a client.
The definite error code is 0x030C - serial port configuration failed.
can you give a good example of how exactly its done? (I think I have a
bad parameter in my code or something).

goes for &(a.b) But recently, I recall fixing a bug by adding parentheses, or
am I right? To be sure, how can I view the generated ASM code under CW 9.3?

SD card reader.

You can use InstallExpert (www.installexpert.com). It has a conduit made
particularly made for installing any file types to the Palm's media card.
You can't install PDF to Palm's main memory, unless you first break it up in
PDB format...but if
