Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience with regular
expression support on the palm. Right now I'm thinking about using them for
some text field validation, but I can't seem to find any libraries or code
out there that has already been ported. I was wondering if

So what I may want to do is put a bit of code into the prc that responds to the

Hi,
Aside from the 16-repeat limit (which is a feature), I have also noticed the
occasional loss of cursor keys, and also that arrowing down through a memo does
not update the position of the scrollbar. That's for me with the Handspring
Visor version sold by Targus as #PA800U.
But there's
?
How can an application select ToNearest, TowardZero, or Downward mode
after another mode has been selected?
Will the defect be corrected in a future OS version?

Check out the pilotSSLeay library.

You get a GLib shared library, which may require some tricks or an old version
of PRC-Tools--I haven't been following the PRC-Tools saga lately.

gives? Is there a fix or workaround? How can a person select Downward

Thanks,

I posted this in the handspring forum, but not only have i gotten no
response, it seems as if that list is pretty much dead. So, I'll try over
here as well and see if anyone has any ideas. Does anyone have any idea how

This is done in the Constructor (at least under the codewarrior style of
doing things) in the Icon area. There should be a label in there which
signifies what the name of the icon will be in the launcher.

I'm having an interesting time with single line text fields. What I want is
for the text field to scroll its focus along with what is being entered into
it. I find that this works on almost every field, however when I turn on
the "single line" attribute, in order to limit the input to only one
llo,
set the field attributes then it works.

For
very happy, if not impressed, with the Rand McNally Palm GPS
. The one I have is based on the PalmV modem so it still sits neatly in
my pocket. The Palm III version is bulkkier.
I use rechargeble batteries with it and they are usually good enough
to last me a full day's use.

I agree; I've got a small fortune invested in various Palm devices. Its
really
irksome that our colleagues in the USofA get preferential treatment in this
way. I remember the 'promise' to do something about it way back in
December.
