Hi Doug! to solve the problem go to your winamp go to preferences and then media types. (orr file type I forgot) then deselect asf. this way the software you use to play your wma files (.asx) will play then and you won't have to save them as (which anyway does not work) Hope this helps PS : It

Hi Alan. You only need download the ASPI driver if CDEX tells you that it's needed. Without this driver CDEX will not even start. If you're able to start CDEX then you've already got this driver somewhere on your system. It comes with Nero for a start and probably lots of other applications.

The latest recommendations coming from the winamp for the blind list is to install real player 10 or 10.5, windows media player and winamp 5.05. All co-exist quite nicely these days and each can be configured only to play what you want them to play. I personally have all of these programs
