Hi William,

Hi Jesse,
Take this advise very loosely as I have no experience with DMX, I only studied
the Art-Net protocol once for a friend that needed Lan connection with its
hardware.
Try updating @ 20 or 21 ms. [metro 21]
If I remember correctly that is what it takes 1 full DMX cycle.

Not sure about this but perhaps it helps.
If possible uninstall everything with the pd-extended uninstaller.
Install some of the known library which shouldn't work

Tested on another machine and didn`t work.
mrpeach/tcpsocketserver-help.pd needs “pthreadGC2.dll”, this appears as a
win8.1 error and NOT in pd console with -verbose.

HI Patrice,
Y have uploaded a Deken package containing a lot of .dlls that were included in
Pd-0.44.0-extended-windowsxp-i386.zip
The name of the package:
missingDLLS-v0.0.extended-(Windows-i386-32)-externals.zip
Type “missing” in the deken search bar.
Simply copy the dlls to your pd/bin

while i appreciate the initiative to provide missing system libraries, i
think this is the wrong way to do it.
#1 a deken package should be self-contained.

You meant: (square wave) --> [dac] --> line out --> op amp --> Step (logic)
Right?

Right, thanx for clarifing.
By "Step (logic)" I was referring to the Driver Board "step" input.

The problem here was "_self",

Do you mean that everything could be "injected" via a javascript?
Why?
Why not?
Is it more "Straight forward"?
If Purr-data try to open blah.js for any blah.pd it can instead open blah.html.
Or better:
Can html also be injected via a
I`m starting to forget about doing html inside a patch.
[pddp] already gave remote content on a browser.

Hi Liam,
I suggest that you use:
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
as a very good replacement to “ms-windows notepad”.
You can encode as “utf-8” or “utf-8-BOM”,
And much more.

Btw,
Your example becomes “routable” if converted from “utf-8-BOM” to “utf-8”

Hi,
The 32 bit binaries are Ok.
No need to do 64 bit externals as Pd is only 32 bit on Ms-Windows.

Use the ones on Cyrille`s website. They will work perfect on your win10.

I`m just brain-storming about the fact that Purr-data is based on HTML5.

Before I forget:
Win10 does not pop-up "missing dll" warnings.
In the case of [coll] 3th party dlls are needed. Those are somewhere in the
Mingws dirs.
Those required dll can be placed in the same folder where the external, when
you are testing, and later you include it in the Deken Pkg.
