I've done that exactly ONCE in LR, and it remembers it ever since.
I am just debunking your statement that with LR you are "locked

But I am happy to hear that DxO suits your needs.

The same as on the K-5 I think which would be P mode. In fact the only
mode you can't shoot raw in is Green mode.

Does anyone here know how to make it export my images (in color) so as

sRGB, Camera profile, some profiles from the calibrated monitors - the

Thanks.

Larry, you're a model son. Hope your ma is soon 100%. Some nice shots there.
I like that typical barn shaped roof in the first one. Very wet scenes but
apparently not too wintery? Oh, and I hope there are no more serious floods
but I think you need the water.

Thanks Bruce. I agree in regard to the contrast. I was trying to avoid losing
detail in the white feathers, and I may have tried too hard. :-). I did work up
the midrange contrast in levels, but pulled the white point down.
Yeah, photo.nets new look just went live today. Others will complain

A junko in the forsythia. Again, it’s the K-1, D FA 150-450 and the A2X-S
converter, 900mm, ISO 1000, 1/250th, probably f8. I believe it’s cropped to

Thanks Jack. Just a feeder pic, which I usually don’t bother to shoot, but it
was easy to focus on him here. I’m hoping Pentax will develop some new
autofocus full frame converters. I’d prefer a 2X, but a 1.4 would be good as

Paul,
This is a pretty nice image. Very large on my screen and some grain is a
result, although not too bad.
As I previously commented, that 2x converter seems to be a good one.

I'm late to this. but I don't see how the K-? stripped down full frame
could lose any features that would make it less expensive. Most of the
fluff is in the software, which would not decrease unit costs for Ricoh
to build. Any actual electronic or mechanical changes such as a smaller
buffer,
This pic is perhaps interesting primarily because of the equipment used. I
mounted the D FA 150-450 and an old A 2X-S converter on the K-1. That meant my
tired old eyes had to focus manually, but the in-focus beep and flashing light
on the K-1 make it fairly easy, using just the center focus
