new to me) camera, but then again, $300 in repairs isn't very appealing
either. I understand this is a tough set of questions to answer, but I need
to hear from severl viewpoints on this issue.
So what would you do?

takes them way longer?
Besides, take a peek at the images that are generally being printed on those
machines...
OK. I've ranted enough.

overdeveloping due to over agitation and perhaps too much time in the tank.
My next try will either confirm or disconfirm my theory...

Dear Geordie,
On Wed, Nov 21
I was wondering if anyone could tell me a developing time for tri-x 400 film
in Ilford Ilfosol-S developer?
I had the film in the tank for too long last time, so I want to know what
times other people are using.
thanks,

Geordie Clarke's Silo at Night...I like the
perspective, and the contrast which I find both subtle
and dramatic in color and subject. I think a wider
lens might have made the bottom left a bit less
crowded.

Mark,
Thanks for your kind words and appreciation for my photograph. I am tempted
to go back and try the same shot but composed differently. It would also be
BW since I don't use colour film anymore.

of their cardboard mounts. Of course, sharpness may be lost this
way...but I can't tell you how much..
Geordie
1. Can film scanners be used for colour negatives? Does all that
orange get
in the way? And if they can, can Photoshop (or something) reverse
the colour
to give you a print that looks like
what I know so far.
