Another lovely shot, Subash. Colors, composition (I like the
interaction of the grasses), sharpness, and subject are all splendid.

These are from La Petite Pierre, a town of about 700 souls in the
Voges region of northeastern France.
The town has two parts: a modern main street (viewed here from our
hotel window):

Thanks, Dan.
Since the excellent Storm app was senselessly gutted and replaced by the
slow and inadequate Storm Radar, I've been looking. Weather Live, Weather
live (yup, the name differs by the capitalization), Weather Channel,
AccuWeather, NOAA Radar Pro, Weather Bug, and Dark Sky and a few
Larry, I agree completely with Annsan.
I think your nature-celestial photos are the strongest (that may "just
be me," 'cause I don't care a whit about dancing); and they often
reinforce each other. For example, the "hole in the shore" in 3255 and
the "hole in the cosmos" in 9885 reinforce each
I like these Mark.
We visited the MAM in November (b!), and loved it. One of my
photos from that trip is in the Annual.
It's a gorgeous building with a very intriguing collection.

Thanks, Alan. It’s a small but very picturesque town.

We spent a few pleasant hours in Gouda. Yes, it’s where the cheese comes from.
The town hall is a remarkable building, especially since its over 400 years
old. The patterns on the shutters (especially the white hourglass figure on the
red background) are repeated all over town.
I really liked that cap. When the one I bought from Dave at GFM wore out, I
bought another, and wore that out too.

I got to it without trouble via Safari this time. Weird.
Anyway... I like the subject, but think a couple of things detract
from the photo. First is the bag of mulch in the right rear; that
probably can't be cropped out completely, but some cropping and clever
cloning might do it. Second is that
The Guildhalls were built in the 16th century, and give some idea how powerful
their owners were. I don’t know which is which, but there is a Coopers’ House,
a Carpenters' House, a Tailors’ House, and an Archers’ House.

Dan, I like this a lot! The colors, the sharpness of the flowers in the
foreground, the motion blur of the butterfly wings agains the OOF blur of the
background leaves and flowers—it all works marvelously.
