I like the LEE filter system because you can buy
graduated filters that slide up/down in the holder.
That's nice, and true for the Cokin too. I have the Cokin system and I do it

As for vignetting, rectangular filters won't pose this problem.
Vinaigretting however means that springtime is close. And serving
the salad in a FA* 24/2 looks like the supreme refinement. ;o)

Nope, that would be one drawback. I usually try and improvise some lens
shade using my hand or big filter pouch.
