No, it's Adobe's ransomware business model that goes against the grain
for me. No more,

I'm still using LR6 on OS El Capitan, my machine is too old to upgrade
further or at least that's what Apple's site tells me, and i never have
used the face recognition app so i'm good there. I have played with ON1,
its ok similar to LR but I get miffed trying to locate thighs that LR just

The Lightroom license is perpetual. Apparently the third party licenses
that run some of the modules are not perpetual.
I expect anyone who wades through the EULA, would find this to be what they

For the record, Larry, I've had NO "issues" in upgrading macOS to Big Sur … I
knew LR was going to be incompatible well before I upgraded to Catalina, and
was planning for that to happen. It was broken already anyway, with two modules
not working correctly in v6.14 for a least a year before
It’s been a while, like since last March, but I use the face recognition
feature a lot when I’m photographing events and I need to sort photos out.
I’ve been spared some of Godfrey’s issues by refusing to downgrade from High
Sierra to Catalina or Big Sur. I just spent quite a while on fb the

The article misses option three. A simple class action (even the threat of it)
should wobble the share price enough to solve the issue.

Nor have I. On the other hand, I've constantly used its GPS/map

If that isn't wilful deceit, I don't know what is.
It's Adobe, I expect nothing less from them. They want to be the
MicroSoft of imaging after all.
