Thanks, those photos show it off very well.

Olympus makes extremely good lenses. I've always found them to be on par with
Zeiss and Leica lenses, at least their pro-line lenses. :)
I looked through photos I've posted on Flickr made with the E-M1 and 50-200mm
lens. Seems I use the EC-14 teleconverter with this lens a lot of the time,
Thanks, Godfrey. I like the Olympuses (Olympoi?), and the lenses are really
excellent - it has felt rather a shame not to have used the FT ones for so
long.
I had a dig around after sending the email, and discovered that Oly, not
surprisingly, make an adapter, the one you mention, so I have

Thanks. That's made of aluminium, which isn't a good match with steel... not on
bicycles, anyway, and I don't want to be smearing copper grease on my bayonet
before I mount. I read somewhere that the aluminium ones leave microscopic
splinters in the lens mouth, and I think I'd rather not take
Thanks. Which adapter are you using?

Hi Bob!
I have a lot of experience with the E-M1 ... still have mine. It and the E-M1
II are truly excellent cameras.
The E-M1 (and mark II) differ from all the other Olympus bodies in that they
are the only ones that have the phase detect sencels on the imager chip and
focus the FourThirds

I should add that all of my lenses are manual focus - I don't own any

Before you buy anything, try to do some test shots with the adapter,
autofocus speed varies A LOT with different lenses.
My main camera is an Olympus EM5, and with adapted 4/3 lenses autofocus
speed and accuracy is terrible at best. Half the times I can’t lock focus,
and the times I get it right
I was recently given an EPL1 and picked up a couple of Fotasy adapters,
probably because they were the least expensive I could find. They seem
to work fine.

I had a small windfall, so I have bought me an Olympus E-M1 II + 12-40/2.8 lens
to take cycling with me, replacing the Fuji X20 that is becoming increasingly
difficult to peer through.
I have already an Olympus E-3, which I haven't used for years, and a set of
