Thanks, Darren. I've cropped out the sky completely as it was almost featureless and uninteresting, and included the dam which was previously cropped out, turning this into a wide format image. Increased contrast and vibrance to bring out the subtle differences in colour between the trees. This

yes, it seems to be about evenly divided. I'm guessing that some see this photo as a forest type shot and others see it as a texture shot. Your perception of the type of photo would lean you toward one crop or the other. I guess I'll have to decide for myself and disappoint half of you :) .

That is a pretty nice shot you have there. These types are always very difficult when there is sun peaking through - the contrast range is almost impossible to deal with. I like the overall look of this one. It really gives you a feel of the trees and stream. Good framing, too. -- Bruce
