When I went on the 2001 2-month trip I made travel notes on cassette
tapes much later I was transcribing them - partly with the help of some
gals who could actually type properly listening to a dictaphone..

US Hwy 64 ends a few miles west of there at Teec Nos Pos, AZ, where you
turn to go up to the 4 corners.
I've always been fascinated with Hwy 64 because it runs past just a few
miles from my house. Before I bought this house, I lived out on 64 in

Bob - Shiprock (the rock) is near Shiprock (the town) in north-west
New Mexico, about 50 km from Farmington. It has of great religious
significance to the Navajo people.
