Something alike (camera not metering) happens with screw-mount lenses used
via K-mount adapter, due to the black-paint finish of those lenses.

You are trying to use older extension tubes, that does not have
contacts on them for the the digital body.
You will have to set the lens to f22 on the lens itself and not with
the camera. The reason it works right when just the lens is on the
camera is because it is a A lens with contacts. With
