The nimh batteries in my isDS go low very quickly when I've been out shooting in 20F or lower temperatures... especially with auto bracketing. I get a dead camera after about 50-60 jpegs. And, a halfway empty battery icon after about 20 RAWs. Does anyone know if this is normal? I have one of

Godfrey, Mark and Kenneth, thanks for the replies. I'm relieved because I was afraid that I had a defective camera. The batteries are of different ages, one set is over four years old. I've never had a problem when used in my CoolPix 990 so this problem is new to me. Jim
