The very colorful dresses makes the event more photogenic.
I remember St. Patrick's Day was very special in our Boarding Public
School run by the Christian Brothers of Ireland.
There would be feasting throughout the day, with our own parades,
movies &

school. Their motto was 'spare the rod and spoil the child'.

Specifically, desaturate in the red since the other colors seem ok.
FWIW - I spend time in-camera checking the histogram in RGB specifically to
avoid this situation.

Anyway you don't pick lenses using math. You take them out on dates to
see if you're compatible. It's more an emo thing.
