I have had very bad experiences with KEH repair: basically,
they wouldn't fix the problem, argue forever the obvious, and so long, so forth.
I wouldn't use them again.

to anticipate the correct aperture.
To explain - I set the *ist-D with this lens pointind directly into a
light table (to get a consistent metering.) If I set the lens to the
"A" position, and the body to aperture priority
I had some exposure problems while shooting with the A* 200 macro last
week. Looking at it closely I discovered today that it is not stopping
down properly when the lens is set to the "A" position. basically, it
does not stop down at all at f 4.5 and 5.6, but then begins to stop down
at f 6.7.
Anybody got some recommendations on how
to convert a whole bunch of pentax istdDS RAW
files to sRGB jpegs with some control
like compression rate, sharpenng, image size, etc.

but still a massive automatic batch conversion)??

Hi Bruce - I like this one because it shows a little of the leaves and

Dave, the flower was shot with an old CZJ zoom lens which as always been
pretty sharp when stopped down a bit. I also added a bit of unsharp and
tweaked the colours a bit with gimp.
The bee was so nearly a good shot... as I was using the manual foc
