Hi all,
Just recently I learned about another new treasure of photographs on line,
which I'd like to share with you.
It's the collection of Bill Gottlieb and it mainly deals with jazz photos
from the late 1940s. Gottlieb was a writer and a photographer at the
Downbeat (jazz) magazine
Nice shot, might perhaps benefit from a tighter crop.
Have to admit my favorite dists are Jay-Z's (his aka is Jay Hova)
Witnesses who just stand there like a Watchtower and don't force their
views on anyone ]=)

After testing my lens on my friend's K7, it's confirmed: the lens is the
weak link. The SDM contacts are perfectly clean, so I don't know what the
problem could be aside from ineffective repairs performed by CRIS down in
Arizona last winter. They damn well better cover this under warranty...

Hi all,
I get my PDML emails in digest form -- usually about a dozen or so in
one bulk email. Up until now, I've been using my web-based gmail
interface to read and reply. Problem with that is that it doesn't allow
me to reply directly to another list member when appropriate. So, when

That's an appealingly simple, uncomplicated shot of an interesting building.
The blue house on the right is a bit of a distraction; I wonder what the view
would have been if you had moved to the right.

do not think there is much that i get needing immediate response these
days

professor, or by a colleague, making the print runs relatively small.
Few if any make it to the network of bookstores other than the campus,
or near campus ones. No printing company is going to print a hundred
