The VS1 is a sweet lens. Close focus to three feet. The K mount
version is great regarding flare as it is VMC (Vivitar Multi Coated),
the M42 version is not VMC. Optical and build quality are second
to none. It is probably actually a little faster than 2.3.

Bob Monaghan kind of hinted that the 200/3 and 135/2.3 are
probably faster than rated, by today`s standards.
I can understand grabbing the 135/1.8 when you need the speed,
I would do the same thing if I had one :(

I have one of those as a throw in also in M42, never used it yet, but I

but I`m sure they are very fine lenses. However, the VS1 90/2.5 is

Hi Gianfranco, That`s what my LX does also, so I think it`s a normal
behavior. When there is enough light it won`t fire the flash in TTL,
if you need fill flash, take it off of TTL.
