I just never respond to any ebay or paypal emails and report them to
ebay or paypal. None of them have been legit.

If the contacts are basic I don't think it will function any differently
than a non-KA lens. I have a couple of 3rd party KA lenses without
contacts (only an A position on the aperature ring) and that is the way
they operate.

Well that's down $50 for the one in the same condition that I bought six
weeks ago. LN- meant that it came with everything (except batteries) in the
original box. I've been using it since it arrived with my manual lenses and
am quite happy with it.

Frank, I use a Minolta Dimage IV and am very pleased with it. However I
would advise looking for a scanner with Digital Ice software bundled with
it. The Dimage does not but I have purchased LaseSoft Imaging's SilverFast
software which does an excellent job. If I was to do it again I would
All of this would be enough to cause one to go out and buy a C*n*n!!

I agree. Faster AF hasn't been an issue for me since all I have are manual

What don't you like about the RAW files? (I may have missed a post on
this.) I shoot nothing but RAW and am quite pleased with the performance
of the D.

I'm with Bob, completely, on this one. Lense may be legitimate by virtue
of being archaic but its a poor excuse for the folks who can't spell very
well.

I have used a light grease marketed by Stihl for the gears in electric saws
and hedge trimmers with good success. Fargo sells helicoid grease in a
couple of weights too.

I'll second the choice of *istD! Its got everything I need and that it
takes CF's was a factor in my decision. The D's smaller display doesn't
bother me as I usually turn it off for most shots.

My slightly used *istD arrived from KEH last week. I have been quite
impressed with the images it produces in the short time I have been playing
with it. I haven't spent much time with the RAW files but clearly, the
results in tiff format are fantastic.
