Thanks for the reminder Paul, I do have an EyeFi, will pull that out and try your approach. I already use RAW+ but 1) I have been using highest jpg quality and 2) daily transferring those to my iPad. My logic was that the jpegs on the iPad provided a tertiary backup in case my original RAW

Stan - Using the K-3, I shoot RAW+JPG. I keep an Eye-Fi card in slot 2. The card in slot 1 gets the raw files and the Eye-Fi in slot 2 gets the smallest JPGs the camera will generate. The JPGs transfer fairly quickly to my iPad for initial review when I'm not near a computer. The JPG
