Thanks much, Gonz!
It's difficult to post process a scene
such as this and not succumb to
a tad of color enhancement.
I'm weak. :-(

Great shot. Beautiful scene. I wish we had fall foliage like that in
TX. I think the only place where there might be some fall colors is
in a park called Lost Maples about 3 hours west of here.

I could possibly still be using the K10D, but I hope my wife doesn't find
out.

I always give that as the essential reason :-)

Thanks, Boris. I'll interpret your suggestion as an indication that the
shot is a worthy effort.
I think the lifting fog makes the difference in this scene and there is
no way to re-shoot it.
I might mess with gaussian blur a bit and see what it does for me.

That's pretty, I like the way you caught the fog coming off the river.

Beautiful!
Did you also try it with SR but without the tripod?
It would be an interesting comparison.

No, but I have to admit that I took a few shots before remembering to
take it out of SR. I really don't know why it's recommended it not be
in SR mode when on a tripod. Probably vagrant gusts of wind and/or
misinterpreted shock waves.(?)
I'd think that in earthquake prone California, they'd

There is a very delicate look to this shot. Nicely done. You have
captured the feeling well. I like it.
Looks like digital will work well for you. You should tell us how it

fog lights and took it easy on the levee road. Nearly turned around and
