Hi Boris, As a rule I never use the computer to delete images from the card. As much as possible i even avoid deleting inidividual images in camera for 2 reasons: a) I don't like evaluating an image on the lcd screen b) Increases likelyhood of corruption. When i erase the card I always

Folks, I just tried a supposedly problematic, but lighting fast, TwinMOS card on the card reader in the office. No error messages whatsoever. It just works. My card reader at home is made by SanDisk and I bought it couple of years ago. Could it be that new cards are too fast or otherwise somehow

Yes it is possible. My reader (which is OEM and not a good Sandisk) can read most cards but recent ones won't do it. My Ultra2+ 1GB will not be read in that reader although it wil read in my Thinkpad but slowly as hell (the integrated readers in laptops are always slow). -- Thibault Massart aka

You might have a POS card. You may want to stick with more mainstream cards, like SanDisk, Kingston, Lexar, Transcend However, why not borrow and try to use some other cards before getting any more nervous. See how they work in your camera, card reader, and with your computer. Also, see
