The 4-40 has the smallest re-entrant horn and I daresay it can sound better
than the Credenza!

Of course this one has the swivel shoulders. Also this weight is a repro, so I
don't know if that would affect anything. Never know if the measurements are
exact on repros.
Thanks for the info. I played this last night and it sounded like crap. What do
you recommend for link wire? How flexible?
I once dealt with Mirek and he was similarly nasty with me.

Agreed. I charge exact shipping and I usually have boxes onhand. If I have to
buy new boxes I might charge $1 or so. Sometimes you have to pay the cost of
doing business as a courtesy. I have found that it builds repeat customers.

I don't know about Texas, but in California checks are only good for 6 months.
If not cashed by then they are void at the bank. This Bryan guy sounds like
he's not the greatest businessman. That's no way to keep a customer!

Hi I didn't see them on the site, but the president wrote back to tell me they
do make them and asking the quantity I would want..
Where can I get 1 of 2 or 3 sizes at a reasonable price?
Thanks

They would be Bagshaw in Nashua NH or Dean in CT.
I bought needles from APSCO in the past but I didn't like them. Under a
magnifier the surfaces were very rough and I didn't like the sound. They may
have changed suppliers since, however. It was convenient that they were
prepackaged though. I'd give them another try.

The quote from Bagshaw for 20,000 was 1700.00, or 8.00 plus cost per hundred.
Not competitive at all. I see you would have to buy tons to compete with these
$5 per hundred sellers.

I bought my first cylinder machine under that kind of pressure. I was looking
it over for five minutes, being new to the hobby, and some guy next to me
pointed to it and asked the seller how much for that phonograph? and I said
I'll take it.

Hi
The model b has a little stanchion next to the pulley. I think it was
eliminated on the model D due to the need for space to pull out the 2/4 gearing
shift. The D was the first model with the factory 2/4 gearing. You could add it
to the earlier model, but the shift mechanism didn't need so much
Time to buy a horse and cart!
