[Phono-L] NEW ITEMS FOR SALE

2014-03-12 Thread mshawnorourke
EDISON MODEL H: A very nice Edison model H reproducer. This one retains most of
its original green stain. These reproducers were stained Green to allow the
owners to distinguish between the Edison H and the Edison C. This one plays
wonderfully. I replaced the limit loop which was missing when I received it.
The original jewel is nice on this one. It easily fits in and out of the
carriage. This would be a nice reproducer to add to your Edison four minute
machine.

PRICE: $105.00.

EDISON LONG CASE HOME BOTTOM CASE: This is the bottom only to an Edison Home
Long Case model A. It has a very nice original decal and much better than
average original finish. The bottom board has the common split observed in most
Edison Home cases. This could be a nice upgrade for a case bottom that has been
refinished or has a less than desirable decal. It is a nice case bottom.

PRICE: $95.00

HAWTHORN AND SHEBLE CRANE. It is suitable and will work well on an Edison Home,
Standard or Triumph. As well, it works on Columbia machines, certainly and A or
an N. Being very adjustable, it will work with most smaller, as well as most
larger horns (and all in between)This one is in as found condition and could
use a little cleaning up. It will make a nice crane for someone who wants an
all original example for their machine.

PRICE: $165.00.

Pictures available on request.

Shipping and insurance only are additional. I will pay for the cost of a well
packaged item.

No PayPal, checks only.

Shawn, the reason you and Ken D. are confused is that this entire transaction
was conducted publicly on Phonolist. That isn't a problem, except that Shawn
and Ken Danckaert (and possibly Ken Ogden) didn't know that. So no, Shawn did
not accidentally send an email to Ken Danckaert.

Remember, everyone. Any time you reply to a message from Phonolist, it goes out
to everyone. This is in spite of the fact that an individual's email address
appears in the header of each message.

[Phono-L] 2 14 Inch Horns For Sale All Brass and Black and Brass

2014-01-31 Thread mshawnorourke
I have two 14 inch horns for sale.

The first is a very nice example of a 14 inch black and brass bell horn. This
horn is original, and has the desirable Pat'd Applied For stamp. It retains
the original paint and original patina on the bell. The bell and body have some
bends, and minor dings, but it presents well as is. The price on this one is
$120.00

The second is a very nice example of a 14 inch all brass horn. This horn is an
original. It is the earlier version with the flat seem between the bell and the
body of the horn. If has some minor dings in it, so its not perfect, but it
presents really well as is. The price for this one is $160.00

No PayPal on either. Checks only.

Subject: [Phono-L] New Reprinted Catalogs - Reginaphone/ Edison

Folks,

I have a couple new reprinted catalogs made available to the collector
community These are professionally done on high-quality paper and image
processing with vivid graphics and text. They were reprinted from very
nice original examples.

First a 20 page Regina/ Reginaphone catalog. This one is large,
approximately 9.5 by 7. It is full of great Regina related items. It
contains many table top and floor model Regina Music Boxes. There are
unbelievable pictures of the music boxes in addition to great descriptions.
As well there are several pages dedicated to how these wonderful music
machines were constructed. Included also with this catalog is a one sheet
dealer listing (front and back) of the music box disks available for the
machines. Too cool! Price - $20 plus $2.00 shipping in a Kevlar envelop
within the USA.

Second, a 16 page J.W. Jenkins Sons catalog. This one is large,
approximately 10 by 7.5. It is full of great Edison related items. It is
from approximately 1901/1902/1903 era showing the new style Edison cases.
There are more interesting details on other pages including floor and
cabinet cranes, a repeater, record cabinets, etc., etc., etc. Too cool!
Price - $15 plus $2.00 shipping in a Kevlar envelop within the USA.

Finally, I still have limited quantity of reprints remaining from the rare
Montgomery Ward catalog of 1898. This 16 page catalog was produced by
Montgomery Ward. Interestingly enough, It introduced some of the most
important and rare machines known today including the Edison H coin-op,
Universal Talking Machine coin-op, Polyphone, and Trade Mark Berliner.
There are 16 pages chock-full of great information on early phonographs and
gramophones. Price - $20 plus $2.00 shipping in a Kevlar envelop within the
USA.

Pictures of sample pages on request.

Payment in checks or fee-free PayPal only.

Contact me with interest - mshawnorou...@gmail.com
