Indeed the news page is fairly out-dated. We should probably just
remove the page all together

on my Windows box. It seems fine?

Dear Sirs,
I am unable to access windows.php.net to obtain a windows IIS version of the
latest php version. A ping to windows.php.net returns a time out. Any ideas
when this might be available again?
