Yes .55 worked.
I am on a clean vista install. I shut both computers off last night.
Booted them up this morning and tried to scan again. I got the moose
(not responding) for about ten seconds but no other error message and
then all of a sudden it started to scan. (and did so successfully)

it working on my SlimNAS, and managed to cobble together a menu item to
add XFM, allowing you to tune into the London, Manchester, and Scotland
stations.

With SlimServer 6.5.2 (Linux) and SoftSqueeze 3.4 (Mac), the Now
Playing no longer works. (It had also stopped working on the previous
version.)
It just says Connecting instead of showing what is playing. See the
attached screen shot. The server knows the current playing item as

playlist. The intent was to list 20 random unrated/top rated tracks
similar to a particular seed artist... but I couldn't get it to work
right. I have no knowledge of SQL unfortunately. What I ended up
producing lists

There was an error loading the remote feed for Wiki Radio: (Unable to
open file '/wikiradio.opml')
I do have a playlists directory set and Slim does have write access to
it.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Glad its working. It's not the good way of doing this. The correct
way would be to package MIP in a .deb package with proper install
scripts setting everything up, but I guess adding the 4/5 lines is not
too bad either.

I have exactly the same problem (can't restore ratings from the backup
file) but this doesnt seem to fix it for me.
I have specified the backup file as
J:\music\trackstat_scheduled_backup_20070518.xml
and that directory and file are readable by the user running
slimserver.

I am probably missing something obvious here but when I run Softsqueeze
(v3.4) the remote control is on top of the display and I can't seem to
move it. It is even hiding the button at the bottom right of the
display that makes the remote appear/disappear so I can't even
