Integrating MusicIP with SqueezeCenter.
Will the 6.5 version work with 6.3?

On the controller, it would be Settings->Music Source.

Hi Michael,
Is my problem now in the "too hard basket"?

If you're happy with 1.1.x then there's no need to update.

Your post is helpful especially about the Realtek HD audio manager as it
is quite common.
PC audio is getting more sophisticated than plain stereo and so harder
to give "one size fits all" setup instructions.

This figures, I just did my test install with 0.69rc2 then they changed
it for the 0.69 release. I'll do a vm install this weekend and post my

Could you elaborate on what this means?
I'm running FreeNAS 0.686 with SC 7.3.2 24695 and Slimnas 1.1.3.
Everything is working fine (as far as I can see) but since you are
writing this I wonder if I should upgrade both FreeNA
Now I can actually answer one of my own questions:
Yes, it does matter what output is configured!
I changed it to "Speakers" and voila - sound! I also connected a cable
to the speaker output. Since I had nothing connected here earlier this
output was not possible to select.
So now i listen to
still doesn't work though

Thanks for the reply.
The 'wavin2cmd -l' command returns:
"Stereo Mix (Realtek High Defini"
"AudioCapIn (ASUSTeK Virtual Cap"
-The one listed first is "wavin:0" right? BTW, now I've also tried to
play "wavin:1" in squeezecenter with no more luck.
I tried recording using both Stereo Mix and Aud
I'm pretty sure the previous version has been updated as well. When you
go to the site now and download it will ask which version you need. I
think when Hugh made that change he also updated the 6.5x version for
the expiration.

Internet connectivity with the Philippines is rather unreliable, and
whenever the links go down my server becomes rather unresponsive!
Thanks both for the feedback.I'm completely with you on non-bloated
code. the tweaks necessary to support the BOOM are small:
1) Use $client->isa("Slim::Player::Boom") to identify Boom, and do all
the following inside a "if ( $client->isa("Slim::Player::Boom") ) "
wrapper
2) Adjust gxwidth to

On the advanced->network tab i have radio station buffer = 3,

Same here. My only concern is bloating the code and/or options further.
In the options screen it should be made clear, that the wind/precip
