It is clear that Softsqueeze plays OK but also it does not show the error message so I think the error message is related to the problem. It also seems likely that Softsqueeze settings may be different to h/w players so Softsqueeze is not affected. What 3rd Plugins have you installed ? -- bpa

BBCiPlayer should not have audio dropouts as it does not play RealAudio. Gaps can occur due to buffering - are you getting "buffering messages" ? Buffering can be due to processor or network overload or poor LAN. What type of processor/system running SBS have you got ? -- bpa -

FFWD works for me but I find if you try to ffwd within the first about 30 secs of playing it will fail. So when you try to FFWD wait about 30 secs after audio has started and alsop make sure the "buffering" message has gone and see if that works. -- bpa ---
