Will this new plugin.pm work on older versions of SDT for Squeezecenters
less than 7.4? I run 7.3.3 and can't upgrade to 7.4 yet.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll try using drc to generate a full-range
filter. REW initially seemed more user friendly, I've not used command
lines for a long time...
I'll try Sugarmonster's sample file too, thanks for that.

I have just reinstalled my SbS (7.5.0 - r29833), but when I went to

I have added both

My Full rescan and Custom Tag scan appeared to have finished when I
looked in the morning but I couldn't check in the log file as it was
completely blank. Not sure why that would be!

Thanks!

I think your problem is that you have disabled AAC-Flac and so SBS is
trying to do AAC-MP3 but you do not have lame installed.

I am running the new plugin.pm file inside the older 5.8.7 par file.
Working fine with 7.3.3.

That's the problem - flac not running.
Either delete the /usr/local/bin version of flac or copy the SBS
version to /usr/local/bin
edit:
if you don't use the SBS version of flac, streams will stop after about

Check the sugarcube prefs file to see what you have in the stored list of
previous played tracks. You may need to manually remove them and set the
tracknum to 0.

Try changing contributor_track.role in (5) to contributor_track.role
