@Gordon: Thank you for your answer.
My Ubuntu machine is intended to be a pure music server, and most of
the time there is no need for any shutdown blocking feature. Anyhow,
besides periodic maintenance, there are times when I try to get more
into the Linux thing.
If there is no other way, I
Thanks for the new version.
If the iPhone 4 goes to sleep when iPeng is synching the cache the sync

I notice that the new music page now refreshes every time it is opened
which takes a while. I guess there is no way for iPeng to know

the log. Open the log window before you start the test to see early

That's a yes on both cases.
The next iPeng version will finish the cache downloading the background
again but it doesn't work in 1.2.8. It was more important to stop it
from permanently running in the background and it looks like I was too

I've though about this before and decided against it. The reason is I
find that often you somehow carefully balance the volume between
players and then don't want to have this balance destroyed just because
one of the players is switched off so that it fits in again when you
turn it back on.

How do you fix that volume? iPeng shod theoretically ignore players with

Do you feel that volume is also being used tobuild the average volume?

What happens next ?
The next few lines in the log file are important until play attempt
fails and as I said before sometimes it is the lines that are missing
that indicate the problem.
You can copy a lot more log lines if you save them in a text file, zip
it and then attach text file to a post.
Here is what happens and then keeps repeating buffer overflow. I am new

figured it out, this is the full log file. Take a look at the section
today 8:31am time which follows the section I sent. Seems to keep
repeating. thanks!

The playWMA plugin has not been set up for 7.6. Its maxversion is 7.5.*

it to work.
The plugin has nothing to do with cover art - that is a separate
