I am happy to report success for local files. Sonething in your last
post made me wonder if I had actually put the config file where the
executable expected it. So, I did a broad search and it popped up in
the root directory where it belonged. When I was executing it using the
terminal, I

That would be much appreciated. I've not worked out a pattern for when
the HLS streams stop, but they do, so a way of automatically re-starting

Ok, that is a small sample, but still useful information - so no

The stopping dead with BBCiPlayer (i.e. HLS streams) is something I've
very occasionally noticed. The alpha plugin isn't particularly robust if
any of the chunks of stream get dropped, or

Well, some interesting behaviour this evening.
First, around 6:30pm, I started Bob Harris On Sunday, R2, BBCiPlayer.

Hi, hope somebody can help me out! When I want to start the Dynamic

horrible long list that als contains all the Composers:

This doesn't happen when I browse the Artist list in the Webview or on
any of my Squeezebox

My gut feel is that BBC/CDNs are doing network
upgrades/rework/maintenance. If you're a pessimist then this could be

The principle is very well described here

It relates to remote playback using iPeng but all the port forwarding
stuff applies equally when using a laptop with squeezeplay.

I just built and installed a PI 2 with hifiberry and also got the
Premium plugin for the hifiberry audio output.
It seems volume from the DAC is very low - much lower than from all my
other devices. Is this normal? Is there a special setting?
Yes - volume is max ;-)
Seems very strange cause I

I'm also seeing issues. Am using only the BBC iPlayer plugin and Listen
Live, exclusively Radio1. I had the occasional buffering when the
initial HLS issues were sorted out but it has mostly been very
occasional and wasn't an issue. Over the last two weeks or so it has
become almost unusable

That's a great question,

Sounds like everything has been sorted. Is there still a need to look

I did the same,
