I spent time today reconfiguring and troubleshooting. I erased my config.xml file and ran the process from the beginning. The -i statement still did not work for me, but using save did. It picked up the Oppo just fine and added it as a device as expected. Once I modified the codecs, max sample rate and device name and ran it again, everything worked as expected. It crashed repeatedly on invoking MP3 streams from SomaFM and KEXP, but did work with Pandora, even with the firewall up. Ickstream-->> TIDAL was non-functional for the Oppo. There appears to be a problem with icktream and virtual devices such as Squeezelite, or at least there is on my system. I should have previously mentioned I am on a several month old nightly of LMS 7.9. I could use TIDAL if I synchronized a Touch with the Oppo and used the Touch as the primary interface either through a browser iPeng, but the stream cutout after 20-30 seconds and I could not recover it without restarting the track, at which point it would play another 20-30 seconds. Buffer issue? So far I can get inguz convolver to work with an MP3 stream (with clipping indicated in the log file) but the ALAC files do not seem to want to play nice. But even if I never get anything else to work, I am pretty happy at this point and if I can work out the ickstream issue I will be satisfied.
