Ok, thanks. So you do see the track changes in LMS, but don't get any sound?
This is important to know for me to understand whether the spotty -> LMS
communication is broken, or the actual playback.

connect device on android but that would not authenticate either.

The only thing which is not working is to jump to a position within a
track (don't know if this has worked before).
That's a good point: TBH, I'm not sure I had this implemented before.

Discovery is also enabled in my setup, so I can see all players even
when there is another

does not play.

I see a message telling me the helper has crashed several times and to
disable local announcement but nothing else.
Does it still crash after it has disabled the announcements? Do NOT
re-enable it, as it will continue to crash. Just leave it alone.

If the new Spotty helper doesn't work then try an old Spotify version

Fixed - in case anyone else sees the same thing, I had to manually allow
squeezelite-win.exe to make outgoing connections through the Windows
Firewall.
I *assume* this is the same for the Store installed version, and if so
should/could this be added to the manifest or whatever Windows Store

Have browsed the thread but not seeing anyone else with this issue; I
have tried both the Windows 10 Store version and the standalone
installer (1.3.3) and even after successful login (remote with user and
password) the browser window remains blank and the server doesn't show
