Can't chmod()

Could you please give me the full server.log where this happens? That
module isn't trying to chmod anything, afaict...
You should probably run slimserver.pl with the --cachedir directive

Still 'skipping'; sometimes the track abruptly changes during, other
times Bill's announcements occur while a track is playing, followed by
next track.
Sorry to report that this is still occurring, also on the various other
mixes as well as main (have just updated plugin).

All mixes play smooth as silk here. Also smooth as Bill's voice in those
announcements.

Yes I did - I don't like it much, it consumes a fair bit of memory when
devices are playing, but there's not much more I can do before Google
does a correction

I encountered two bugs:
1. Minimizing and restoring will reset Squeeze Control to the home
screen. That one's really annoying. I doesn't happen all the time but
most of the time.
