As long as it's a normal perl install, you should be able to install via
cpan.

Hello,
I just discovered that thread right now with the warning at the begining
regarding exposition of squeezebox local IP through port forwarding.
I didn't take the time to read all the threads to see weither you found
a better option.
And TBH, i don't have an Alexa or Siri or any of these

Sorry - I don;t have the log any more because it was overwritten by the
next scan - but I did have debug logging enabled at the time.
I saw it was doing a last.fm artist image lookup and was getting that
one from Akamai.
There were a few other entries in the log after that but I suspect that
Does the spotty application behave as a series of files being streamed
with gaps in between ? If so then it may explain why this behaviour was
not seen before.
Spotty is track by track. Is there anything I'd have to tweak in the
convert.conf to make this behave differently?

I /think/ MAI is crashing/exiting while scanning a folder that has
tracks from multiple artist in it.
The one that looks suspicious is MAI going out to last.fm to find an
image for the artist "Death and Vanilla"

I just verified it worked on my end as well.
I was down a couple of versions on my ATV (13.0).
An upgrade was doen to 13.2 and everything is working again.
