Firstly, apologies as I'm sure that this has been covered before, but I
can't for the life of me find where.
I'm happily using Spotty, but this Christmas we splurged on a Family
Premium account and I'd like to assign an different Spotify account to
each individual Squeezebox. Grateful if
OK so this is ridiculous. I'm using Spotify Connect on my 12 year old
Squeezebox 3.

find anywhere that doesn't have a very painful command line
approach to installation. I've tried about three of these methods (each
of which differs from the others) but get stuck at various configure
or make stages.

Perhaps I should ask a simpler question: how do you install ffmpeg on
Mac OS X?
I've downloaded from the website, but it's just a zip file containing 3
command line executables. If I run any of them, they just show me a man
page with a bunch of options, but not much else to go on...

Nick - my understanding is that LMS transcodes from the streaming codec
to (lossless) FLAC (for use on the local network), so the stream
shouldn't take much of a quality hit if any.
I'm sure others will correct me if I'm mistaken!

an SDT folder is permitted to be in the plugins folder. The updated
plugins message has now disappeared and the SDT folder isn't deleted
when the server restarts.

What version of SDT are you using? There are now two versions - one by
BoomX2 and one by tcutting. Both of which have version numbers higher
asking me to reboot (or defer until later).
I can workaround the problem by selecting reboot later, but the prompt
persists everything I go to the plugin screen. And I i restart the
server (via Preferences, etc) SDT is deleted.
(This is the Weather.com version)

Belatedly, I'm trying to get it back.
I've made the settings on the Player/Display page (1 pixel at 0.011
second updates) which works fine for any song titles, etc - but doesn't
appear to have an effect on the SDT scores.
Any ideas?

I guess the problem with this workaround is that I'm woken by whatever
it is I was listening to last. In other words, I can't go to sleep
listening to my music library and be woken by the radio.

Strange issue with the Extension Downloader... this morning, I see that
there is an update available for SDT 5.8.2 to 5.8.3. Nothing on
Greg's site though.
But when I upgrade to 5.8.3, the Extension Downloader tells me that
there is a new upgrade available: 5.8.3 to 5.8.2

Further to my last post - it appears that the team logos appear OK just
after an Internet refresh, but then get replaced by 'getMLB-xx' (where
xx is a 2 digit number) in under 20 minutes. If I force a refresh, I
get the logos back.
Running Mac OS X 10.5.4, SC 7.2, SDT 5.6.2.

It's happening for me on a Squeezebox 3. Teams I was tracking this

Using SqueezeCenter v7.0 and SuperDateTime 5.5 in UK (+5 hrs).
Everything worked fine with MLB scores and schedule until last night,
but now I can't get any scores or schedule.
Have ESPN been up to their usual tricks?

starts, my CPU jumps to around 50% for the perl process, which looks
good. However, I don't have an mplayer process.

One thing I've noticed - I've set the screensaver to kick in whilst
playing (AlienBBC). But once the screensaver is displaying, no button
press will take me back to the Squeezebox menu, unless I red button
'power off'.
