I can install the applet on the players, but none of the styles show up in screensaver. In LMS setup I see custom clock helper, and see my own styles. They won't show up on the players. Something is up with the players...

That's the frustrating thing. I have custom clock helper working, and can see my own custom clocks. But they won't show up on the players. However, licence manager do complain about not being able to connect to mysqueezebox, while my credentials should be good...

Home assistant has a squeezebox integration and already could display the status of the various players, or serve as a basic remote for them. It just couldn't trigger an action on state change (unless I missed how this can be achieved) So, node-red poll on the status as seen in home assistant

The RSS aggregator seems to be rather picky about the form of the feed. Many feeds I am trying aren't working. Having one that works as an example helps in the searches. I should come up with something working today.

I could make the stock ticket work, but none of the other non-date ones. Oddly enough, on the foundation screen we use jivelite800x480, but for HDMI out it uses remote, even if sizes don't quite match. But it isn't a problem.
