I tested a few google searches and failed to find the current flac test.
Eg bbc iplayer r3 flac. It links with the previous one, with no link to
current one. bbc iplayer r3 flac does not bring up the link in the first
Google page. What is BBC doing with its test website? Does it want it
buried?

BBC seem to have started the Radio 3 Live stream again ahead of the
Proms.
To play Flac - you need the V 1.5.4.* of the plugin as Flac is a bit of
an experiment by BBC. Once installed then you need to set Live Stream
setting to "DashFlac > DASH" and play the "BBC Radio 3 Flac" stream

There is no way to do it on the fly as API has changed.
The only way to do is to generate an file of the archive up to say
1-april-2017 and keep the file http accessible online somewhere.

Working fine again now, thanks as ever. Never knew about Systemline
before your link, and definitely well above my budget. Strange that
there's absolutely no mention of Logitech or LMS on their site
I don't this recent problem was a specific reaction to the new feature
- many of the Extras feeds have also gone down.
This is similar to what happened a few weeks ago.
I think BBC now make changes mid week instead of weekend so they have
time to react and fix problem during week days

Yes. It is an estimate based oin the timecode of the segment last sent
by BBC sent to player against real time. So it is a combination of BBC
anbd plyer buffer.

worked perfectly.

I only have one problem, that the on air text just displays "2 mins
delay" is this normal for the FLAC stream?
I've updated the 1.5.4.3 Plugin so anyboy who has this problem just need
to re-install the plugin.

work) as they use a format that I hadn't noticed before - I'll come back
to this issue later.

I found a BBC On-demand FLAC test stream in one of their bug reporting
pages (forget which).
It can be heard by inserting the following in your menu.opml and may
keep going after the test period.
I wouldn't listen to it for anything other than
1.5.4.3 has the following changes
1. Click on a segment in "Segment Time" menu and player will jump to the
segment and play it.
2. Small change to segment list formatting of time to now
hours:mins:secs if necessary
3. If no segment info from BBC - a segment info list of equal segments
is created
Another small mod the latest test version. In addition to R3 Flac
support in 1.5.4 (only a few days left to test) - this version add
On-Demand segment info as a menu.
I've uploaded BBCiPlayer 1.5.4.2. For anybody using the
V154testreleaserepo - upgrade will be notified automatically.

DASH is using HTTP but DASH is chunked not streaming HTTP. I think the
netstat is for a different
Hi - just out of interest... and you will have seen my other stream,
since loading SSL support and upgrading to the latest LMS after
Michael's changes yesterday, I'm now able to stream NPR https. So I
just went back to see what happens with the Limelight CDN
