Anyone know if Squeeze Mobile can play in the background (i.e. will it
continue to play if you quit the app? does it use the internal playback
engine of the iPhone?).

music and mostly to transcode some of my radio stream so I can listen to
them in the car while travelling and while at work without wasting too
much of my precious download quota. This app was perfect for it and it

it finds my music. I can select music by Artist, Album, Search, New
Music etc. It displays the selected track details on the screen.
The only thing it does not do is play the music. It just says

You are not blind. I've actually never used that feature so I didn't
include it but it's on my TODO list now. I'll add repeat while I'm
working on that as

Found my problem with SC 7.4 Beta. Needed to download 'LAME'
(http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php) and put it in the
C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\bin. It was already in my
Vortexbox SC 7.3.3 on my other server. And if not already set, under
Setting/Advanced/File Types/FLAC,

It seems to matter. Works fine on wifi, but mileage may vary on 3G and
especially 3Gs. It's a little clunky to have to pick the player but
