Hi blithering_idiot, If you're interested and willing to try, you can try the NOMYSB package from Sourceforge. In this package the mysqueezebox.com integration is disabled. This means, less plugins will try to access the internet, which just might solve our issue with the plugins tab.

On my own system I have noticed that when LMS is starting and often attempts to get repositories from sourceforge.net fail due to timeout - this seems to pause LMS startup - so LMS will startup but only when all the request timeout have happened sequentially and if it is say 4 repositories this

Installed 7.9.2 on my DS418 it installs and runs ok, but when I go into plugins it crashes. Music stops playing and LMS reloads Uninstalled and install 7.9.0 and that runs plugins ok. Also could be my imagination but the time it takes for 7.9.2 to fully load before using squeezebox is far
