The URL organisation is the BBC's responsibility. AlienBBC and BBCiPlayer display and play the programs according to the lists the BBC provides. For a few programmes and mostly for UK listeners - there are podcasts so that Composer of the Week can be played using.

You should already be able to add a brand/series menu to your favorites by clicking the heart icon in web interface on the relavent menu. This is intended to store the relavent information to always build the latest menu for that brand/series. I think you can then add this to the alarm

I'd expect that debug if you are trying to play stale information - are you always browsing to the stream from the root of the menu level and then pressing play (favorites/presets won't work on 7.3). Otherwise try 7.4. -- Triode

The Favorite idea doesn't work - it generates a Favorite with an URL such as http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/availability/bbc_london.xml?Danny%20Baker but the response does not play as a Favorite or even have only Danny Baker. It looks like the full BBC London schedule. -- bpa

Ok - the problem is that the default skin is using javascript to do this and it bypasses setting the parser... Try setting a favorite using the classic skin and it should work.. However this is going to produce an xmlbrowser list which is not the same as something which is direcly playable -

I think if you are using latest version (0.9a) and you disable AAC playing in Settings/Filetypes - then the plugin will play the MP3 streams if they are available. MP3 streams are only available in the UK. -- bpa bpa's
