I was on the one-month Hi-Fi trial, but my account settings were set for Premium. Premium doesn't give access to Flac streaming. Check in Qobuz My Account Settings External Services and check Activate listening in CD quality (FLAC 16 bits/44.1 kHz) is enabled. I have now found out Qobuz Premium is 320kbps streaming and Qobuz Hi-Fi is FLAC CD quality streaming. Somebody asked me by private mail: -*What would one use this setup for?*- What motivated me was the search for a nicer than Logitech/others GUIs and so add joy to the listening experience: We can now control iTunes (running as player on the Mac Mini) with the (IMO) well designed GUI of Apple's Remote (iOS) app on iPhones/iPods/iPads. Remote provides a very similar interface to iTunes, which many people is familiar with. The music flow is then: ITUNES LIBRARY ITUNES SOUNDFLOWER LMS SQUEEZEBOX(ES)/SQUEEZE(SOFT)PLAYERS ETC. Using Apple's eye-candy GUI, the beautifully sounding LMS+Squeezeboxes can be stamped as wife compliant devices :) They deserve (IMO) a -wife acceptance factor- (WAF) 9 out of 10 :) I put this WaveInput channel in Favorites of the Squeezebox players for rapid access. After using it for a month or so, the only drawbacks I see are: - The 7-8 seconds from pressing Play to listening due to latency. Pause/Stop have instantaneous effect tough. - The not so nice icon in the controller(s)/Touch screens instead of the album art. I guess this last could be fixed by some extra coding in lua. - Together with the 'SmartMix' (http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/detail.php@nr=1352kategorie=slim-plugins) plugin by Michael 'mherger' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?50-mherger), this approach covers all our needs for now. Hey Triode 1) Thanks for this very nice plugin! ;) 2) Is it possible to show playlists when you use the plugin implemented search? Now it is only showing artists, albums and tracks results. With the official windows app you get artists, albums, tracks, playlists and profiles. I don't think profiles is usefull for this plugin but playlists would be really nice :) 3) Your radio selection only shows the list of Genre Stations. Is it possible to show Your Stations and Recommended Stations within the plugin? And is it possible to integrate missing Genre Stations like 90s and 00s? I have the same issue than dave4jazz. Before installing the plugin I used to decode flac to pcm on the server before streaming to the client to improve sound quality. I have a Premium account and have installed Triode's 3rd party application and logged into my account. Both the Spotify applications work with my Touch just fine. But when I try to run Triode's application on my SB Classic, Boom, or Duet I can't get it to play. On my SB classic I see it trying to connect. I tried changing the port and that doesn't do anything. It's like it times out and tries to play the next song on the play list but doesn't make any sound. When I run the self test it says the helper application is not running. Though I can still play the application through my Touch. And the status is logged in and helper application running. I have reinstalled the plug in a couple of times with no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I got Spotify today because of the impending shutdown of MOG. Spotify didn't work but the Triode plugin did however I also have no Radio function. If I click a stream the timer advances like it is playing normally but no sound.. One other bit of weirdness. With Logitech Media Server 7.3.3 (on Mac) I could see both plugins, official and triode. Both would stream music (at work on the mac, but only the triode plugin would stream at home on Raspberry Pi). So at work both stream but it would break up so often it was unusable. So then I uninstalled LMS 7.7.3 and installed 7.8 Then installed the triode plugin. Without fail after doing it a few times it makes the official plugin go away. BUT.it streams perfectly (except no radio, never had a radio previous to this anyway). Now get this. If I delete the official plugin and restart everything the official plugin is back and the triode plugin shows as not installed. Anyway I could care less about all this. I'm happy with the Triode plugin being the only one. My only issue is I'd like the radio to stream. After re-starting all of my Apps and SB Touch, the Triode App is now streaming just fine on my Touch. Thanks Triode !:) And like everyone else here everything works, except the genre radio. The Artist mix stuff on the artist page is really cool and a good alternative to MOG.
